It’s never too late to experience the holidays, especially in Theme Parks and Universal Studios Orlando is no exception this year.
With holiday theming starting on December 1st and running through January 1st Universal may be the place to go to experience a new holiday tradition.
On Islands of Adventure, Grinchmas comes to life throughout Seuss Landing. Guests can watch the live show, “Grinchmas Wholiday Spectacular,” featuring The Grinch and the Whos from Who-ville accompanied by an original musical score by Mannheim Steamroller and meet the Grinch.

This year, the parade will include all-new Nutcracker and Mouse King “trycaloons” – tandem tricycles that appear to be pedalled by balloon characters from the popular holiday tale. Guests will also enjoy holiday characters, fantasy-filled floats and a tree-lighting ceremony by Santa Claus.
Loews Portofino Bay Hotel: On select nights in December, guests can enjoy Holiday in the Harbor, with carolers, acrobatic elves, scavenger hunts and storytelling.
Hard Rock Hotel: Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve buffets and welcomes Santa to The Kitchen restaurant on Fridays in December.
Loews Royal Pacific Resort: Holiday buffets for Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve, plus a special New Year’s Eve luau to ring in the New Year.
Universal City Walk: On December 31st, guests can celebrate the New Year at Universal CityWalk’s New Year’s Eve Celebration. This year’s event features a concert by one of today’s top artists, access to seven of CityWalk’s nightclubs, all-you-can-eat cuisine and a midnight champagne toast.
